چکیده
Outer membrane proteins (OMPs) of Pasteurella multocida play an important role in virulence and are for vaccine development due to immunogenicity. Here, we evaluated immunoprotection mice, immunized with native OmpH, recombinant OmpH HS alum precipitated P. P52 against challenge. Protection studies were performed mice groups I (OmpH); II (recombinant OmpH); III (HS vaccine). Group IV was control group administered sterile PBS. The protection percentage recorded as 83.33% Gr. & III, 66.66% II. (Gr. IV) showed 100% mortality. mean antibodies titers detected at day 7, 14, 21 28 postimmunization, compared the group. All significantly high immune

Immune efficacy of OmpH and OmpA DNA vaccines against avian Pasteurella multocida
Avian Pasteurella multocida is an agent of fowl cholera. The protective effect achieved through orthodoxvaccines is not ideal. The research on novel vaccines against avian Pasteurella multocida is imperative. Inthis study, the genes encoding outer membrane protein H and A (OmpH and OmpA) were cloned into theeukaryotic expression vector pcDNA3.1(+) and the recombinant plasmids, namely DNA vaccin...
متن کاملHeterologous protective immunization elicited in mice by Pasteurella multocida fur ompH.
Different strategies have been developed to produce vaccines against Pasteurella multocida. The approach described herein involves overexpression on the bacterial cell surface of Fur-regulated IROMPs (iron-regulated outer-membrane proteins). Accordingly, the ability of fur mutants to promote heterologous protection was examined in a Swiss mouse animal model. Twofur mutants derived from P. multo...
متن کاملCharacterisation of avian Pasteurella multocida strains with PCR-RFLP analysis of the ompH gene.
The 16 somatic serotype type strains and 60 field isolates of Pasteurella multocida, representing various avian species and geographic regions in Hungary, were characterised by PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) analysis of the ompH gene with DraI restriction endonuclease. The type strains yielded eight different (I-VIII) profiles. Strains whose PCR fragment was uncut by Dr...
متن کاملPrevalence of different OmpH-types among Pasteurella multocida isolated from lungs of calves with respiratory problems.
Pasteurella multocida is among the most important respiratory pathogens of cattle. Outer-membrane protein (OmpH) constitutes an essential bacterial antigen and is well studied in avian bacterial strains. Studies on isolates from cattle with signs of respiratory disease caused by Pasteurella multocida serotypes A and D have not yet been covered in the literature. The objective of this study was ...
متن کاملMolecular typing of avian Pasteurella multocida isolates from Iran by PCR-RFLP of OmpH gene
Molecular typing of twenty-five Pasteurella multocida isolates has been assessed by restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) of a species-specific PCR assay. All of the P.multocida isolates were recovered from fowl cholera outbreaks in Northern provinces of Iran. Amplification was based on the gene ompH, encoding a major outer membrane protein (protein H). PCR with ompH primers amplified...
